Manufacturer(s): Roden

Description: It's about the Roden kit, almost OOTB. "Hermann Goering" Division markings, Italy 1943. Not very easy to work with... but with some care, it can be turned into a nice model. Is painted with Tamiya acrylics, and weathered with oils and pastel-powders.

The photos are a little dark making it difficult to see parts of the model, another light would help. The model is well built with construction flaws being hard to spot. The paint work is smooth and the colour is good but it could benefit from some additional tones and discoloration. The decals are well applied and blend in well with the overall finish. I’m uncertain of the intended effect of the redish pin wash and I think it and the silvery edges detract from the models realism.

A good build and the weathering add interest to the single colour camouflage scheme. The wash is perhaps a little too "orangey" so I'm not sure whether it represents dust / grime or rust (or maybe both). The markings have been very well applied.

Nice model, well constructed the overall look is nice. I'm not sure what colour its supposed to be (Light grey?) the cecals are nicely applied the number plates look abit bright. The dirt or rusting around most of the edges looks effective but alittle heavy, the darker drybrushing works well with a little steel drybrushing mixed in. the details like the tools & tarp are good, the Helmets seem to just be glue on to the middle of the hulls?. the tyres could do with a dry mud colour inside the tread. nice model.
