Description: T-34/85 from an unknown unit on the eastern front. The kit was built out of the box. Tamiya flat black acryllic was used to prime and then followed up with black green in varying ratios of flat white/ yellow. The kit was then given a gloss coat of Johnson's wax before the application of the kit's own decals. Wash with tamiya brown/ black/ red enamels followed soonafter. An initial flat coat was then applied prior to drybrushing with pastel chalk.

Build is very well done! Good clean application of photoetch. I would sonly suggest substituting the spare track on the front glacis plate for a better more accurate one. Painting is good. The paint seems to have uneveness in spots along with some orange peel. Try coming closer to the model when you spray, and adjsuting psi to lower pressure. Also watch for dust when spraying, there seems to be some in the paint finish.

Well it's an average built of an average model. There are some gaps here and there. The PE's are well applied. Base color is a little bit dark for me. I would suggest you using some more highlights and shadows. And using less drybrushing. Decals are well applied. Your weathering job seems to be a good base for improve your skills. It's like it was made by an 1/35 modeller. Try to be more accurete, and work more on the little details.

The out of the box building seems acceptable. Some unsealed junctions on the turret roof are visible. Paintwork is, in some areas like the rear hull, a bit heavy and overdone. The weathering on the other hand enhanced the dust/orange peel effect and do not looks very realistic.
