Modifications: Wire handles and Revell figure

Description: LAV-L is nice kit with a lot of bad parts. Machine gun was too flat so i did not put it on. I like rubber tires so i look trough my fingers for this manufacturer :) ... Paints are ACRIL from Games Workshop and some enamel from MM etc.

Judge 1: Good solid effort. Nice dusting effect, particularly well done on the wheels. Try making up a simple ground work display to take up any gaps at the wheel surfaces (i.e. all wheels should touch the ground). A little bit more depth of finish via a pin wash and some variance in the base tan colour would help add some depth to an otherwise nice finish. Photography is good with nice angles and fairly good depth of field. Try to avoid shooting in direct sunlight as it can wash out some of the more subtle weathering effects. Wayne
Judge 2: A good build, especially as this is a short-run kit, although some of the gaps between parts are still slightly visible. The paint finish is good but could be further improved by stronger washes around the details. I particularly like the dusty finish on the wheels, with nice strong contrast between the tread and tyre surface that contacts the ground.
Judge 3: Nice and subtle dusting, especially in wheels area. Definitively needs stronger wash and drybrush, especially on jeryycans and bag. Also I would set more dust on upper surfaces - these are the places where light dirt is accumulating on vehicles in dry climate. Little more light brushing on rised areas would help showing details.
