Description: Unknown unit Italy autumn 1944. The vehicle used to belong to the SS but was taken over by a Heer unit. The figures are dragons new set and they are simply stunning, best I've every seen. I swapped some arms around to suit the scene but appart from that they are OOTB. The figures were painted with Vallejo model colour and the Stug with lifecolor dunklegelb lightened with white. The technique used was the colour modulation technique. It was weathered with Migs oils, washes and pigments.

Another good model to show you don't need lots of etch parts, just a clean build & a good paint job with realistic weathering (Good Figures & interesting stowage helps too!) the only thing I would replace/remove would have been the over scaled tow cables.

A good build and nice placement of the new Dragon figures (I've used the same ones in a StuG IV!) The paint finish is excellent. A perfect amount of depth / shading and a good variety of tones to break up the single colour. The mud on the lower hull is particularly well done with a lovely mix of dark and drier light tones. The smaller touches, such as oil leaking from the jack are also very nice. The only thing that strikes my eye is the overly thick tow cable, but being completely OOTB this is just a side issue. Excellent!

A very clean and good building, simple but accurated. Excellent painting job, very very interest, with plenty of shade, tone, scratch etc etc all very realistic. I love the job on the lower parts of the hull, with fresch and dry mud represented. Outstanding!
