Manufacturer(s): Dragon

Modifications: I used Eduard PE sets for detailing and correcting the kit. Armor plates were thinned and the their contour is corrected in the posterior part. I added missing rivets and weld beads and also wires for the camouflage branches.

After-market parts: Eduard PE sets

Description: The kit is DML 7234 and notorious for the short DS track. I found my solution from PANZERWRECKS No.5 which features short tracked Hummel. I painted it according to the box art with GSI creos lacquer(No. 45 sail color) and enamels from Testors(rust) and Tamiya(IJN cockpit green). It was then fltered with Winton raw umber oils and weathered with pigments.

Nice weathering showing a very worn AFV love the camo wires on the sides & the little details like the headphones, Ammo bins & vents in etch. The track could do with a little more metalic drybrushing on the edges & tread. Great stains & chipping in the interior & paint work.

Fantastic build with very effective and in-scale weathering. More in-build photos would be good though. Weathered balkenkruez is very effective. Mud is good but could use more on tracks, otherwise this an excellent model with first-rate painting! Very nice to also see models depicting an original photo subject.

A very nicely built, but very battered looking model and a novel way of overcoming the issues with Dragon's tracks too. The added details within the fighting compartment are very convincing, adding to the worn out feel of the subject. Your paintwork and weathering further enhance the generally trashed look of this vehicle and are very nicely executed.
