Manufacturer(s): Dragon

Modifications: I used some parts from Revell kit, grap handles made from brass wire, clamp made from brass sheet and plastic sheet and more detail added from brass sheet, wire, plastic sheet.

Description: The kit is DML 7361 and I painted it according to the box art with GSI creos lacquer and enamels from Tamiya. It was then fltered and weathered with tamiya enamels.

I like this little scene you've created, it really does convey a feeling of cold and forboding. The model is well built with only the track returning from the drive sprocket on the right hand side needing a bit extra glue to hold it down, it seems to be floating. The paint work is well applied and I like the colours, all the smaller details have been nicely shaded. The chipping and scratches are a llittle over done and in places are out of scale, using a smaller brush, taking more time and being more frugal will help here -less is more. The weathering is subtle but beleivable but I considering the state of the road I would expect to see a lot more mud on the tracks and rear. I've got one of these in my stash but never built it as I didn't think it would make such a nice model, so well done.

A very neat and nicely enhanced build, making good use of the spares box and home made details. As has been mentioned by the first judge the fit of the tracks is not perfect, but should be easily corrected. Paintwork is excellent, the subtle camouflage is very attractive and beautifully executed. The detail painting is nice, with the spare track in particular links looking very realistic. Weathering is also generally very good, although the rear hull plate seems a little too clean and some of the chipping on the turret looks a bit misplaced.

Very clean build. Home made, and PE upgrades are very well done! Base colors are the avarage ones. I realy like your airbrush work, very nice ambush camo! Weathering is well done! Chips are well detailed, but are also overscale. Next time try to paint more, and smaller chips! On the undercarriage the weathering is a bit monotone. You could improve your skils by making a little contrast between dry and fresh mud. We don't have to judge the base, but I would tell you some words. I like the idea, the situation. But the mud is monotone, a dark wash could help. Also the snow covered area is too white. Some dry grass, small bushes, ect. could make the sceen more spectacular. Very nice model, on a bit monotne base. Some little changes, and it will be a contest winner model!
