Modifications: Some putty on the tires to cover mold imperfections. Wiring added for towing handles and cables on the nebelwerfer. Thickness of barrels reduced.

Description: This is supposed to represent a worn Nebelwerfer 41 from an unknown unit in the Eastern front, in 1944. Model painted with Vallejo acrylics, filtered with MIG filters, chipped with Modelmaster Panzer gray, and washed with MIG brown wash. Soot from Tamiya Weathering Master sets.

A huge difference hollowing out the barrels & adding the wiring the chipped & worn whitewash is excellent. the soot on the barrel end is a little heavy & the lack of tread on the is a shame, though the mud looks good too.

Your wiring certainly serves to enhance the appearance of a simple little model, but the tyres appear to have seen rather better days. Paintwork looks convincingly worn, but I'm not sure that a panzergrau basecoat is entirely appropriate for a 1944 weapon. The heavy weathering looks pretty convincing, the blackening on the barrels is possibly a bit strong.

This is a tiny little model and you’ve make a good job of putting it together. I know you had some problems with the tyres and added putty but it is a bit clumsy on the left hand side. You could have taken advantage of this by painting it as a blob of mud. The paint work is pretty good but I’m certain the rockets (sticking out the back of the tubes) would not have received a coat of white wash and a darker pin wash would have added some more depth and interest to the few details the kit offers. I like the dirty appearance of the weapon and the different tones of mud also look realistic, keep up the good work.
