Description: This is a ZIS-3 from Italeri. The kit's material is like poly-cap's. So, neither cement nor putty settle on the surface, and I could not fix every pin marks. I managed to paint it with several acrylic paints(Tamiya, vallejo, and citadel) and weathered it with oil paints. Every bolts and edges were highlighted with brighter color and the scratches were painted with two colors, brighter one and black.

Good straight build, hard material to work with & shame about the obvious injection marks on the top inside corners of the gun shield Painting & colours are fine. Very good strong pins washes & light drybrushing has bought out all the details nicely.

Considering this is such a basic kit, you have managed to achieve a very good finish. Your base paintwork is good and the streaks and paintchipping, while restrained, are very nicely done.

There is a lot to like here, the colour is great, subtle stains and streaks and very good chipping. It’s hard to believe the base kit is a war game piece cast in vinyl! There isn’t much to dislike at all, very good work.
