Description: Model was built straight Out of box. I primered whole model with Model Master flat black, and after drying of this coat, I sprayed mixture of Humbrol Brick Red and Model Master flat red to emulate German red primer colour. The idea of doing this was to simulate paint chipping later, after applying camouflage colours. Camouflage is based on Dragon manuals - Model Master 1723 as base colour Decals used are from Dragon set. After applying gloss coat, I applied wash made of Windsor & Newton Umbra oil artistic paint thinned with white spirit...Then I painted tools attached onto the hull - handles with Model Master Wood and Windsor & Newton Umbra oil paint to simulate wood texture....Tools itself were oainted with mixture of gunmetal and black colour...Then I chipped paint on the fenders on hull and on turret on places where crew stepped with tip of hobby knife.... Matt coat followed and after light drybrushing with lightened gray colur I applied dry pastels of various shades of brown on lower parts of hull, and some black pigment on exhaust parts, as the final touches...I also painted exhausts wirth mixture of Brick red colour and brown pigments, to emulate rust... Tracks are drybrushed with Model Master Steel colour... This is tiny little kit and I enjoyed in this build very much :)

A great build indeed! nice to see this small "snail scale" done so well. Extremely well done! Parts are clean with no seams. Weathering is in sacle for this size. Photos are excellent. Groundowkr (though not being judged) really compliments the model.

It seems that description is quite similar to the Maus model... anyway, also here the construction could be better in using filler. Coloration is good and the weathering is very well done. I do not like the full metallic color of towing cables; generally they were painted in the same color of tank and only with use, dust and time changed their tone in a darker metallic. Paolo Capitanio

Nicely finished (only the vehicle is being judged). The shading is very well done, especially considering the size of the model. Excellent work!
