The Airfix Mk I kit was converted to a Mk II, primed with Humbrol 1 and painted with a mixture of Tamiya Colours - Flat Earth, Desert Yellow, Dark Yellow and Buff. The paint job was sealed with acrylic floor wax and weathered with artist oil paints - Raw Umber, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Green and Yellow. It was them sealed again with acrylic floor wax, matt varnished and dusted with pastel chalks. The tracks were finally dry brushed with graphite powder to give them some worn metal look.
