Manufacturer(s): Dragon

Modifications: No modifications are made other than minor one such as wire, blanket, etc. , among the various kit from Dragon 1/72 Sherman line, M4A1 Normandy version is truely one of the best!.

After-market parts: Mainly kit parts are used as OOTB but some of additional accessories are supported from resin Calibre 72 US accessories part, PE sets are included in the kit and which is fairly good enough to reflect realistic appearance of typical Shermanic item such as light guard, etc. Also several homemade parts are added in towing cable, blanket as well.

Description: Although the kit is basically depicts the Normandy version of 1944, I used my own imagination of base color and weathering style, only the decals are marked based on kit instruction guidance for historical accuracy. Mostly the Tamiya & Vallejo acrylic colors are used, Tamiya for base color and Vallejo with detailed painting and shading or filtering. I rarely used oil or enamel colors in miniscale cause sometimes it makes the model as glossy finish which will be exaggerated further in miniscale. For lower part and suspension area weathering, I used pastel rather than pigment cause pigment is a bit stronger impact by one false moves which can't be easily detached from the model. I used two colors of background paper for my photo with black and light blue, which enable you to joy of watching the color variation through light and background :) Hopefully enjoy my small fellas with dusty Olive drab!
