Kit(s) | German Fallschirmjäger |
The package contains parts for 3 german fallschirmjägere in 1/72 scale. The poses for the figures are standing relaxed, talking or looking at something. The master for the figures was made by Manel Arin.
As with other MIG Productions 1/72 scale figures, they are in a small plastic bag, stapled to a piece of cardboard. On the cardboard is a image suggesting how the 3 figures should look when glued together. The figures on the image are not painted.
The package contains 29 resin parts. Each figure consists of a body (legs + torso), a head and 2 arms. Apart from this, the package contains a weapon sprue with a MG42 and a Gewehr 98K, a sprue with a MP40 (could be a MP38) and 2 ammo pouches for the MP40, 2 sprues with water bottle, Luger holster and gas mask canister and last but not least 2 sprues with bread bag, mess kit and what could appear as a map pouch. With 3 different bodies, 3 heads and 6 arms, you've got quite a few options when collecting the 3 figures. The left-most body on the sprue does not carry any additional equipment, the body in the middle has a stick grenade in his belt and a bandolier with ammunition for the 98K rifle, the last body has 2 stick grenades in his belt.
All parts are nicely sculptured, and the details are great. The bodies, arms and weapon sprue contains some flash. I keep getting amazed by the amount of details on 1/72 scale figures. A bit of sanding might be needed when attaching the arms to the bodies. The image on the cardboard shows the middle figure carrying what appears to be an ammo case for the MG42, and maybe what I thought was map cases, actually is half a ammo case. I would have liked more varied poses on the 3 figures, but apart from that, recommended!
