Kit(s) | Tiger I on the East Front |
This decal sheet has marking for no less than 23 different Tiger Is.
The decals, together with instructions, comes in a small zipped plastic bag.
The title of the sheets is: Tiger I early production pz.kpfw. VI 'Tiger I' on the East-front. With markings for 23 different vehicles, the variety is great. The decal sheet is printed by Micro Scale Industries. Two sheet are included, one big and one small (with 3 very small elephants for s.pz.abt. 502). The instructions are printed on two A4 sheet. The instructions are black and white drawings, and all 23 vehicles are shown with atleast two drawings - the vehicle seen from the left or right side and the back. The drawings indicates whether or not the vehicle is initial or early production. The instructions also indicates which colours should be used on the different vehicles and when the vehicles was in use. The sheet includes decals for vehicles from the following units: s.pz.abt. 502, s.pz.abt. 503, s.pz.abt. 505, s.SS pz.kp. LAH, s.SS pz.kp. Das Reich, s.SS pz.kp. Totenkopf and pz.gren.div. Grossdeutchland.
The decals have fine details and good colour saturation. Most of the decals are in perfect registration, but unfortunantly a few are not. It is visible that the white out-line is thicker on one side than the other. This is a really nice set, especially because of the many different units included in the sheet and the painting guide. The instructions clearly show if the vehicle is initial or early production and this really helps if you want to build an accurate Tiger. This is the first Bison sheet I have looked at, and it's surely not going to be the last. I hope Bison will release sheet for late Tiger I and Tiger II vehicles. Highly recommended.
