Kit(s) | Munitionsanh. für 3,7 cm Flak |
The kit contains the parts for one 1/72nd scale Munitions-Anh. für 3,7 cm FlAK.
The kit comes in the usual MACO cardboard box, with a nice photo of a finished and painted kit. The box contains a single sprue with 23 parts molded in a white coloured, almost transparent, plastic. The box also contains a single A5 sheet with building instructions. The instructions are very detailed 3D drawings in grey tones.
The single sprue has 23 parts, of which all are used to build the ammunition carrier. This kit's sprue share 14 parts with MACO kit #7202, these parts are for the Sd.Anh. 58. A lot of the parts are really tiny and will have to be remove from the sprue very carefully. All the parts have really crisp details, and the smallest parts almost look transparent because of the white plastic.
None of the parts in my kit seem to have any flash. Some of the parts have some sink marks and unfortunately the lid for the carrier have some very visible sink marks, and will need to be fixed. A few of the parts also have some ejector marks, but it looks like they will be hidden when the kit is assembled.
This is the third kit from MACO I've looked at, and also their third release so far. Like the other 2 kits from MACO, this kit is the first of the subject in our scale (to my knowledge). So another interesting kit.
Again, like the previous kit from MACO, this kit has a few ejector and sink marks. Unfortunately the sink marks on the lid for the carrier are very visible and will need so work. Nothing bad though.
This is a really great kit and will be really easy and fast to build. The only thing that bothers me with this kit, is that there's no easy way of taking some of the boxes out of the carrier. For the carrier to look half empty or empty, you'll have to get out your best knife or saw. When the kit can be build with the lid opened and closed, it would have been nice with a bit of options here too. Like with the FlAK 43, the carrier can be build parked or pulled.
Another great kit from MACO.
