Manufacturer(s): UM-Modell

Modifications: I have changed the Barrell against a turned Metallbarell. Scratched the Shield from the Gun from Plasticcard.

After-market parts: A turned Metallbarell, some plasticcard, wire, and some Metalltracks from Finescale Factory!

Description: The Modell brushed with tamiya Arcyls, washing with Mig Wash, some Filters from Mig, some Pigments from Mig. The Figures are from Preiser, AB Figures and Gum Smith Figures. They were modified with Tamiyaputty, and wire. All the figurines were painted with Vallejo Arcylics, and Mig Washes. The Base is from Styrodur, with some Gras from Verlinden& Heki, the Bush is made out of "Meerschaum" with some Flockage, all was painted with Tamiya and Oilcolours. Some Migpigments for the Grond.

The build is good with the only notable problems being where the plastic and white metal tracks meet, the home made gun shield well done and a notable improvement over the kit part. The paint is a little hap hazard the base colours are good but the scheme is a little over scale and not random enough, it looks like it's been painted by you the 180cm modeller and not them the 2cm crew. Paying more attention to the smaller details, tools etc, all ways pays off as it is the smaller details that our eyes naturally pick out. The figures are not bad and could be further improved with deeper shadows on the seams and around the edges of the uniforms, again pay more attention to the smaller details and keep touching up as you go. The compostition of the scene is good and the I like the story. The road is very good but the tufts of long grass look unrealistic as they are all nearly the same colour and height, nature is never this consistent. Overall nice work, spending more time on the smaller details will move you onto the next level.

Good looking scene, setting up the branches for camo. I like the camo & the nice pin wash gives it a slightly worn look especially the oil stains running from the wheel hubs. There is alignment issues with the tracks draping over the return roller. The tree is very bright & are usually darker than grass or a grayer tone at lest, the grass is a good tone but a bit clumped together & 'level topped' making it look odd. I like the business of the figures milling around I would have added more soldiers or none as a single soldier with the crew looks out of place. Nice camo on both the soldier & AFV a heavier was on the plainer uniforms would help & although lots of nice little details, the eyes look very big & out of scale on the figure standing on the flakpanzer 38t. lastly a mesh cage for the shell on the right hand side of the gun would finish it off. Nice work.

That’s a nice little diorama. The composition is simple but sound. I can easily believe that these soldiers do not expect danger in the nearest future, so relaxed they look like. This picture can be clearly seen from different angles, so the goal of this work is reached. As for terrain, bright vegetation immediately draws our attention. May be it’s a little bright though. Trees came out good, but grass is a little weird. The ground is convincing, but it would be logical to have traces from tracks behind the vehicle. The vehicle is a good build with nice addition of extra details. Still, the sag of the left track looks a little odd. Painting is good, I like the way you use filters and washes, though chipping is a little over scaled. The figures a neatly painted, but they can be more improved with deeper shades. And I also agree with the previous judge about unnaturally looking eyes.
